What is ONE ECG
From Heart Health Initiative
ONE ECG™ is a Ultra light Portable Handheld ECG device which is like a smart phone, can monitor heart rhythms at home or in a clinic and can be used as a screening tool. This new generation of Handheld ECG machines, are devices with which you can record your heart’s electrical activity in just 25 seconds, view the key parameters on the LCD screen, and later print the trends in heart activity to help your physician detect Cardiovascular Diseases.
Advanced microprocessors will allow the device to be connected to home computers and through remote Internet applications using our patent pending technology.
Unlike the conventional ECG recorders which require aid of trained technicians to connect the wires to your body,ONE ECG Device requires only hands to connect.
A Ultra light ECG device that would be always with you, either as a high risk person or as a patient. It offers Instant wireless transmission of the ECG recording through CMT technology -Computer Meditated Transmission and helps in reducing time interval between screening and early intervention.
What it does?
- CAN BE USED ONLY AS A SCREENING DEVICE,
- Any time and Any Place Monitoring of Heart Health,
- Drug Evaluation,
- Fitness Center monitoring of Rhythms.
Do not use AS
- Complete Diagnostic Device for evaluation.
- Patients with PACEMAKERS.
- Diagnose Heart Diseases only physicians can do that.
- Substitute for Regular 12 lead ECG.
How does it work?
Electrical waves travel through the heart chambers to charge and trigger heartbeats. If the heart’s chambers are not synchronized, the blood will not circulate effectively, which can be a symptom or cause of Cardiovascular disease.
With portable ecg recorders, you can measure and record your heart’s electrical signals as they are emitted through your body.
When your fingers are in contact with the dry electrodes, the palm-sized device is able to trace and record the micro-current your heart generates during heartbeats, generating the related heart function parameters (PR, QRS, ST waves).
